To 'disapointed':
You must be new to the business of having customers. It is nothing new for dates to be changed, you just need to tell your customers the right thing. Don't promise them something that _you_ can't deliver. It's not Vembu's fault...

Anyway, 2.2 is working nicely for me, any idea as to a possible release date of SP that includes brick level Exchange backups? One post in the forum hints at Q2 2007.

Thanks for a good product!

Sorry about this. If your deployment is a new installation (of the backup server + clients), then you can get started with v2.2 right away. v2.2 (for fresh installations) was launched on March 14! Only, we requested active partners to hold off on migration as we identified a minor issue, testing which, should be hopefully completed by Monday. Quite honestly, we could have approved the build for migration with a caveat saying "if condition A/B is true for your environment, please follow the additional manual steps below, etc" - we just thought that wasn't the best way to go about it!

We want to deliver a build that "just works!"

We appreciate that such delays cascade down the line and in effect, trickle down to your customers. We do our best to ensure this is minimized and currently have staff working 24/7 on getting out the migration ready 2.2 ASAP. I hope once (if you are indeed migrating) you have moved to 2.2, the new features and improved management help alleviate the inconvenience caused by this delay - to some extent.

And yes, from the next release we will try and stick to the committed date; I think we took on more than we could chew this time around.

Please pick a date and stick to it. We keep telling our customers that we'll install this at the date you say it'll be ready, thus stringing them along for months! It makes us look very bad so please get you act together.
